About Alice

Alice with moms and babies

Alice Davidson has worked for 30 years with parents and their children. Alice studied with the late Barbara Cass-Beggs, a pioneer of music programs for young children in the Ottawa area, and is certified as a facilitator for the Parent Child Mother Goose Program, a Toronto based early literacy program of songs, rhymes and stories. She worked for a decade at the Parent Resource Centre in Ottawa as the coordinator of the Drop in program and also facilitated outreach programs of songs and rhyme circles. Through her work at the centre she was the coordinator and an instructor of the Ottawa Parent Child Mother Goose Program. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her work and experience in a variety of roles in nursery schools, playgroups, Early Years Centers and community agencies.

Alice is married, a mother of three adult children and a proud grandmother of four precious grandchildren.

She has been offering the Hush-a-Bye Babies Program to many young families in the Ottawa area since 2007.
